Patricia Barey Real Estate specializes in Luxury & Estate Homes, Historic Property, Investment Property for Residential - Commercial Development, and Southwest Heritage Ranches.

PBRE has represented and sold some of the finest properties in New Mexico.

A native of Florida, Patricia moved to New York City in 1971 where she began a fourteen year career in International Trade.  Working for a German Trading Company (est. 1872) whose world Headquarters were based on Wall Street with fifty offices worldwide.  As director of international marketing, Patricia traveled over 24 countries and five continents. She lived and worked in Wester Europe,
Germany and Belgium, for over 10 years, while maintaining a home in Connecticut.

In 1988 she, and her husband William, moved to New Mexico.  As a real estate investor in Connecticut, Patricia found her artistic passions satisfied by the unique and diverse landscape that is New Mexico. That same year, she acquired licensure status and began her new career, always with an eye to the future and a focus toward the attainment of her clients' real estate desires.

Now in her 20th year of real estate brokerage,  Patricia continues her real estate business with an unrelenting zest for working with interesting people. Whether selling her clients' properties, assisting in her client's next real estate acquisition, or working as a Buyer's Broker, her enthusiasum for the business is the hallmark quality that separates Patricia from most brokers.  She continues to excel with a knack for bringing together that perfect property to the buyer, or selling a client's most prized possession, their home.  Her expertise are razor sharp and always conducted with  forthright insight, coupled with a sense of humour. 

Patricia's repertoire includes a variety of services that are custom fitted to her client's needs. She is an avid believer in full disclosure and conducts every transaction to the highest professional standard.  She often closes her transactions with all parties to the transaction present, an unusual practice in most states.  She believes that every transaction must benefit everyone's needs and expectations, which often times evolves into new found friendships between clients.

Patricia's professional approach to Sellers and Buyers enhances their whole real estate experience by providing clients with the same ardent level of confidentiality that she would expect as if she were the client herself.

Among her passions are: collecting antiquarian books, first editions, & fine bindings,  non-fiction reading, all music " as long as it's the best in its genre ",  Thoroughbreds & Quaterhorses, German & Australian Shepherds, gourmet cooking, and all aspects of nature.
